Vreni Spieser plays the mimetic game and adopts the black and yellow brand identity of the money transfer company Western Union for her own label. In September, Spieser will open the Lifestyle Bullshit pop-up store at Ritterhaus Bubikon and add a sales performance. For her work, she transforms dyed clothing and textiles into high-quality individual pieces by hand, thus setting a counter-trend to the industrially produced mass-produced goods that are on the global shelves. What began as a research project in 2015 is a self-ironic and ego-free commentary on her own unproductivity and desire to sell in 2024.
