Founder and Fundraising

I founded the Kunstlokal Festival in 2022 with ajour, an association for art and cultural projects. I was so impressed by the site-specific collections that can be found in local and regional museums in the Zurich Oberland. These collections are anchored in the local community, regional history and the passionate work of individual collectors. The festival aims to promote new and existing perspectives through a variety of artistic contributions that encourage curiosity, questions and further development. We are grateful to work with such great museum directors, artists and educators who join us in exploring ways to expand the histories and relationships of these collections. As an emerging festival, we are learning and growing and are excited to share our work with you!

Graphic designer

As a graphic designer and abstract artist, I bring my experience and perspective to the format to ensure a strong visual presence for the Kunstlokal Festival. This provides a unique platform to combine my passion for art and design. It is particularly important to me to develop profound design concepts that go beyond pure aesthetics. The message of the art venue should be communicated clearly and effectively. The variety of artistic forms of expression that characterize this festival inspires my work as a designer and enriches the cultural diversity of the Zurich Oberland.

Cultural mediator

I am the cultural mediation director of the Kunstlokal Festival and take care of the participatory aspect of this event. I strongly believe in the beneficial effects of culture for each of us and, by extension, for society. Through exchange, discovery and experimentation, new horizons open up to us, both externally and internally. I would like to offer all visitors to our festival moments of discovery and joyful encounter.

Designer and Artistic Director

As a curator, I supported the Kunstlokal Festival in the development and elaboration of its positioning and artistic direction. It is a particular pleasure for me to be involved in the early stages of the festival and to see the project grow. From a cultural and curatorial perspective, I am attracted by the combination of the scenic and industrial atmosphere in the Zurich Oberland and how these defining characteristics can be discussed in a cultural format. In my work as a curator and cultural mediator, I ask questions about cultural transformations and make intangible values visible.

Being able to join a great project is like a gift. I am delighted to complement the team with my skills in fundraising, events and communication and my extensive network. With my many years of experience in the cultural sector, my "wonder" and my openness to discovering new things, I will help the Kunstlokal and this year's edition to be a success with creativity and motivation.
