Creative Workshop with Artist Karen Amanda Moser and Museum Director Gabriela Flüeler.

The people wear white gloves and carefully place an object on the plinth. The display case is then closed. Inside are valuable objects such as arrowheads from the pile dwellers, a golden calf and old clothes.

Why did these particular artifacts come to the museum? What is kept and exhibited there? Who determines whether an object or a story is historically valuable? We want to explore these questions together.

We invite everyone to bring pictures, books or objects that are important to you or that you consider valuable. Perhaps because they are rare, connected with a memory, or because it was complicated to get hold of this object. Together we will stage it in the exhibition and document it photographically. We collect the photos and create an album of Wetzikon, which will grow larger and larger over time. In return, we will make plaster casts of some of the items in the collection, such as coins or arrowheads, which you can take home with you.

Continuous workshop during opening hours 14.00-17.00 hrs
